Sibling Love

Leighton adores Eoin.  Thank heavens!  She wants to give him a morning kiss and a bedtime kiss each day.  Well, and a million kisses throughout the day too!  She has only tried to pick him up a few times and has learned she needs to place things she thinks he needs by his feet rather than over his face or on his head.  She is very sweet to him and I think will be protective.  Today at storytime, she blocked another toddler from coming too close.  Good job Leighton!  Those unruly toddlers can strike fast!  Enjoy these pictures of the sibling love in our home.

We are Proud to Welcome

Eoin Hughes Brown was born on August 23rd at 4:07pm.  He weighed a whopping 9.12 pounds and was 22" long.  Eoin was a week overdue and was giving no signs of wanting to join us in the world, therefore he had to be induced.  We headed in to the hospital that Friday morning and it took all day for him to arrive.  I will spare you all the details but it started slow and then once labor hit it didn't take long for him to make his appearance into the world.  The whirlwind was overwhelming for mom but he arrived safe and sound.  We adore our new package and couldn't be more grateful for our family of four.  Here are pictures from our first few days in the hospital adjusting to life with baby Eoin.
