Bath Time

Leighton loves bath time!  And we love putting her in her snugly wraps and handmade robe afterwards.  Her robe was made especially for her from my friend Laura.  Laura is an excellent seamstress who makes incredible clothing and just finished recovering her sofa too!  Check out her blog, it is amazing!  http://lizajanesews.blogspot.com/

has surely flown by!  Leighton has been sick and has a double ear infection which has left no time for blogging.  The poor girl had her first cold which lead to the ear infections.  She is finally starting to feel better after her second antibiotic and third doctor's appointment.  Couple that with my sinus infection for a whole lot of fun in our household!  Stuart has been a saint helping out his two girls.  Meanwhile, Leighton has managed to still break out a few milestones.  Her first two teeth have erupted, she sits up by herself and is desperately trying to crawl.  She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth fiercely but has yet to make it further than an inch.  We are so proud of our girl but she is surely growing up so fast!

Leighton was so sweet although she was sick!  Here she is all smiley for her dad after waking up from a two hour nap on my chest.  She hadn't done that since she was a newborn.  I loved every second of snuggling with her like that!
